Lesson Plan

Today’s plan is to work on differentiation applications:

  • Gradients/Tangents/Normals
  • Maximum and minimum
  • Rates of change

For word problems the “show” parts are potentially tough: give it a try, but if we don’t get it make sure we attempt the next part (which will typically involve differentiation)

We’d also do a short discussion of increasing vs decreasing and concave up vs concave down together
